The following from the Kosse Cyclone is very much appreciated:
"The Marlin Democrat announces that it has
just installed a new Mergenthaler linotype machine, which is now in operation
and working smoothly. This is a considerable improvement to any printing
office and few towns in the state of 5,000 population can boast of such an
equipment to their printing plants. Marlin is to be congratulated upon the
continued improvement of the Democrat, the proprietor evidently being determined
to keep the paper a few paces ahead of the rapidly developing city."
