THE STATE OF TEXAS
     County of Falls.
     By virtue of an order of sale, issued out of the honorable District court of Falls county on 12th day of March, A. D. 1904, by the clerk thereof, in the case of W. J. Walker vs. T. J. Elkins et al No. 6138, and to me, as sheriff, directed and delivered, I will proceed to sell for cash, within the hours prescribed by law for Sheriff's Sales, on the first Tuesday in April, A. D. 1904, it being the 5th day of said month, before the court house door of said Falls county, in the city of Marlin, the following described property, to wit: About 4 miles N. E. from the town of Marlin, being a part of the Antonio de la Serda 11 league grant and the T. J. Chambers grant, (in conflict) beginning at the S. E. corner of the Goodrich pasture at a stake from which a post oak 14 inches in diameter bears S. 58 W. 12 4-5 vrs, and a post oak 22 inches in diameter bears north 88 1/2 W. 26 2/8 vrs, thence S. 3 W. with the road 294 vrs to a stake from which a post oak 20 inches in diameter marked S, bears S. 5 vrs, Thence N. 62 E. 836 vrs to a stake from which a post oak 22 inches in diameter bears S. 57 1/2 W. 34 vrs, and another bears 12 1/2 E.  17 vrs, thence 28 w. 609 to corner in R. M. Casey's south line from which a post oak bears S. 62 W. 98 3-5 vrs, Thence S. 62 W. 631 vrs to corner of Goodrich pasture from which a large post oak marked Z bears S. 53 E. 17 1/2 vrs and a post oak 12 inches in diameter bears N. 49 W. 155 vrs, Thence S. 12 E. with the road 361 vrs to the place of beginning, containing 78 4/10 acres of land more or less, levied on as the property of T.. J. Elkins and J. D. Weeks to satisfy a judgment amounting to $1938.77 in favor of W. J. Walker and costs of suit.
     Given under my hand this 12th day of March A. D. 1904:
