A VOICE FROM DOT.

EDITOR DEMOCRAT: - A voice from Dot is still in the swim. Crops are good, though the candidates have thinned out the chicken crop.
Well, the time will soon come when some of us will have to say good-by and go home; and to the third termers, after the election when you retire may you feel that you have done your full duty and we have done the same.
Mr. Meeks, if you can show us why one man should remain in office always we will try and have a law passed to keep him there for life and save the trouble and expense of being elected.
Let us all go to the polls and vote and if we do not get our choice, let us console ourselves with the thought that our neighbor got his.
We are talking up a barbecue and picnic, and if successful will give due notice.
Mr. Editor, you will have a special invitation.

T. J. ANDERSON.
