W. Bartlett and her receiving party of colonial dames, and dames of the present up to Mrs. Roosevelt, which will be far more interesting and instructive than some histories that are placed in the hands of our children.  From Washington you visit Japan, the of Mrs. Lea Allen.  There we meet the veritable little jap and his semi-divine Micadositting (sic) in costumes, reclining on bamboo couches, clad in their bright colored robes, eager to welcome each tired traveller with the cup that refreshes.  Your next destination is France, the republic which presents a more interesting field for study than that of any other nation, because of its ever varying impulses, its originality and its brilliancy.  In Paris you visit the Con Mascha, accompanied by Mrs. B. J. Linthicum, importer of all your Parisian gowns.  You will see Eifel (sic) Tower, and many other pieces of interest.
From France to Germany, where you visit King Ludwig's castles, Music Art Galleries, down the Rhine to Cologne.  Weisbaden, a noted watering place, Frederic the Great's castle, Numberg, where each man's business is advertised by a painted picture on the outside of his house, of his wares.  Heidleberg, the of the greatest of all universities.  Before you embark for Cuba, Mrs. Kyser will invite your attention to the German's own coffee cake, and "stein" of something to drink.  Your vessel homeward bound will touch the Cuban shores.  Mrs. J. C. Snead will be in Castle de Arlington, ready to welcome you to the isle that our country "fought, bled and died for," and that Wheeler was the hero of the land forces and Schley of the navy.
The entire excursion trip will cost you 50 cents if you furnish your own vessel, 75 cents if you take any of the large ocean steamers, furnished by the company.
