THE PLANS ADOPTED
The city council Friday afternoon adopted plans and specifications for the new
school building submitted by the firm of Messer & Smith of Waco.
The plans call for a three story brick
building, with 18 rooms, and assembly hall.
The plans were accepted with the proviso
that a satisfactory bid can be secured from a responsible party to erect said
building, as mapped out in said plans and specifications, for a sum not
exceeding $20,000 said bidder to be able to furnish a satisfactory bond for at
least one third of the amount of the bid.
Bids for the construction of said building
will be advertised for at once.
Protestant Episcopal Church Notice--(St.
John's Mission) Services held in K. of P. Hall, Sunday School at 9:30 a.m.
Morning services at 11:00 o'clock.
