SCHOLASTIC CENSUS.
A summary of the scholastic census of Falls county including the Independent
School Districts show that there is a grand total of 8,740 children within the
scholastic age. Of the number 2756 are white boys, 2524 white girls, or
total 5,280 whites. There are 1740 colored boys and 1720 colored girls.
Total colored 3460.
The apportionment from the State is $4.50
which makes the amount recieved (sic) from the State by Falls county $39.330.
