REPUBLICAN CONVENTION

     Pursuant to the call of the county chairman, A. Z. Wheeler the republicans of precinct No. 1 met at the court house March 5. After being duly organized and electing L. S. Simmons chairman and M. S. Slater, secretary, the following delegates were elected to the county convention which meets March 12 in the city of Marlin:

Williams, M. S. Slater, Wm. Lee, G. Gerald, Wm. Johnson, T. L. Denson, H. Humphrey, D. R. Emerson, Wm. Shelton, H. A. Dyer, J. J. Jackson, N. T. Denson, Wm. Johnson, H. Goode, Geo. Wyatt, H. C. Calvert, G. Reever, J. R. Melontre.
