SHOOTING AT REAGAN
-----
Angelo Chamberlain Shoots Joe
Woodland.
-----

      Special to the Democrat:
Reagan, Tex., July 23:--This morning at 9 o'clock. Joe Woodland was shot three times by Angelo Chamberlain and seriously wounded.
One ball broke Mr. Woodland's left arm and another burried (sic) itself in his hip and a third one entered the left side.
The wound in the side is the more serious.  It is possible that it will be fatal.  The shooting occurred in front of Davidson's drug store.  Woodland was standing or sitting on the gallery of the store when Chamberlain came up and the shooting followed soon after.
Dr. S. D. Davidson dressed the wounds of the injured man and he is now resting easily.
The report is that the trouble began over the shooting of a mule belonging to Mr. Woodland by some one.
Both reside on Blue Ridge and are among that community's most prominent citizens.
After the shooting Mr. Chamberlain continued in his wagon and drove on towards this city.
The affair caused no end of excitement in the usually quiet town of Reagan.
