A QUESTION.

Is it not time that the Marlin people should interest themselves in the question whether or not there shall be a public library in this town?
Shall we not be as progressive in literary lines as in other ways, and shall we let our neighboring towns excel us in library equipments and advantages?
Let each and every man, woman and child then use his efforts in helping the Library association secure the library now offered by the merchants.
It will help the cause and make one step towards our goal -- a fine library open and free to the public where not only young, but those of all ages, citizens and strangers, may revel in literary lore.
