A POPULAR HOME.

       Of all the gay homes in Marlin just now is that of Mrs. F. S. Chambers; it is the gayest of the gay.  The personnel of her house party are Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Torbett, Judge and Mrs. N. A. Stedman with their daughter Miss Mary Stedman and Master Alex of Palestine, Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Webb and Miss Ethel Webb, Dallas, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Collier, with their sweet little daughter Claytie of Waco, Misses McFarian of El Paso, Misses Jennie Davis, Bertha Shoveling and Kate Deady of Houstor, (sic), Miss Lorena Wintz of Morgan, Messrs L. E. Scales and E. C. Thompson, Belton, W. C. Johnson, Bryan, Chas. Thorn, N. Y., Mrs. W. T. Spencer and Arthur Nailor, Palestine, Mrs. Martin, Galveston.
       The spacious parlors and balconies of this cultured are thrown open to the friends of the May-Bell every evening.
