KILLED BY LIGHTNING IN TELEPHONE

Dallas, Tex., Oct. 2.--Ottis Parker was instantly killed at Paris, Texas, tonight while using a telephone.  He had the trumpet to his ear when he suddenly dropped dead from an electric shock.  The telephone wires had come in contact with an alternating current by crossing other wires.  Parker was chief bookkeeper for a wholesale grocery company.
