NEW OFFICERS SWORN IN.

Some Of The Deputies Will Be Retained For
Awhile.
-----

       The newly elected county officers were sworn in Thursday afternoon and are now installed in their respective offices as follows:

       County Clerk, W. C. Rogers.
       Sheriff, John C. Greer.
       County Treasurer, J. R. Howard.
       County School Superintendent. A. W. Eddins.

       Everything is moving along nicely and the machinery of the county is working smoothly.
       County Clerk McCoy will be retained by Clerk W. C. Rogers until he has time to familiarize himself with the details of the office work.  Deputy Clerk Snell will probably remain in his present positon for some time.  In the Treasurer's office Deputy Treasurer A. O. Gaines will be retained for awhile by the new treaurer.
       In the sheriff's office, Sheriff Greer has for deputies S M Steen and H. E. Greer, with J. W. Dial as jailor.
