SHERIFF'S SALE

CITY OF MARLIN vs L. C. NETTLES

     By virtue of a certain Order of Sale, issued by the Clerk of the District Court of Falls County, on the 25th day of April, 1904, in a certain cause wherein the City of Marlin is plaintiff, and L. C. Nettles is defendant, in favor of said Plaintiff for the sum of Three and 69-100 Dollars with interest thereon at the rate of six per centum per annum from April 5th, 1904, together with all costs of suit, that being the amount of a judgment recovered by the said City of Marlin, Plaintiff, in the District Court of Falls County, on the 16th day of February, 1904, I have seized, levied upon, and will, on the first Tuesday in June, 1904, the same being the 7th day of said month, at the Court House door in the City of Marlin, between the hours of 10 o'clock a. m. and 4 o'clock p. m. on said day, proceed to sell for cash to the highest bidder all the right, title and interest which said L. C. Nettles had on January 1st, 1902, or at any time afterwards, in and to the following described real estate, to-wit:
    Certain lots in Marlin, Falls Co., Texas, being lot No. 1 in Original Outlot No 27, and lot No. 2 in Original Outlot No. 31, both located N. W. of the public square in Marlin, Falls Co., Texas, according to the official may of said city as adopted in 1899.
     Said sale to be made by me to satisfy the above described judgment for Three and 69-100 Dollars in favor of the City of Marlin, together with the costs of said suit, and the proceeds of said sale to be applied to the satisfaction thereof, and costs of sale.
     Said sale will be made subject to the Defendant's right to redeem the said property within two years from the date of sale, by paying to the purchaser thereof double the amount of money paid by said purchaser for said property.
