Loyal Temperance Legion

    The L. T. L. met in regular session Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Baptist church.
    The legion was opened by the president, Miss Lizzie Hair, reading the 146th Psalm.
    Prayer by Mrs. O. E. Curry.
    The secretary, Miss Birtie Andrews read the minutes of the last meeting.
    The treasurer's report was read by William Curry.
    Six new members were enrolled.
    Pieces were read by Mamie Adams, Ruth Williams, Tommie Andrews, Aleen Tinsly, William Curry, Murrell Barry.  Recitations by Maurice Fannin.
    That beautiful poem "She Sang to Him of Heaven," was recited by Miss Gussie Kunzie.
