LOTT LOCALS.

       The Lott military company and a number of their friends spent the "Glorious Fourth" attending the Ross Memorial Services in Waco.

       M. W. Harwell, N. B. Watkins, J. F. Prest, N. Stallworth, J. R. Southwell, J. Q. Barnes and A. W. Eddins attended the senatorial convention at Cameron.

       Miss Irma Hogan is visiting here.

       Miss Maimye Porter, who has been visiting in the country has returned.

       Misses Julia Ligon and Susie Atkins are here for a day from the summer Normal at Marlin.

       G. A. King, Nt Lewellyn, D. H. Boyles and C. P. Carlton, of Marlin, were here Friday.

       Mr. and Mrs. Evans entertained their friends Tuesday night.

       O. Dixon is from a brief trip to Cameron.

       George McCreary has begun the erection of a handsome residence on college heights.

       John T. Ligon made a business trip to Marlin Friday.

       O  Malone made his usual pleasure trip to Marlin.

       Prof. J. F. Kennedy is here talking up school for next term.

       James Tally of Belfalls was visiting in Lott Sunday.

       Mrs. J. R. Southwell has returned from a visit to Belton and other points.
