Henry and Thomas To Canvass
County Jointly.

Henry Accepts the Challenge.

An agreement was perfected
Saturday by which Hons. R. L. Henry and Cullen Thomas will have a number of
joint discussions in this county.
Mr. Henry had put out a list of
appointments and Mr. Thomas having asked for a division of time, the same was
granted except as to the Marlin appointment, at which Mr. Henry stated that he
desired to discuss national issues free from personal matters, this being his
opening speech. However, Mr. Henry has called in the Marlin
appointment for the present and stated that he would meet Mr. Thomas here in
joint discussion at some date yet to be arranged.
Mr. Henry has granted Mr. Thomas a division
of time at all his appointments heretofore announced and asked for a division of
time for all of Mr. Thomas' appointments for the present work, beginning at Lott
Thursday night.
