TO INVITE GRAND LODGE

A movement is on foot by the members
of Marlin Knights of Pythias Lodge to secure the next meeting of the Grand Lodge
of the state in Marlin.
The matter was presented to the lodge members at their
regular weekly meeting Tuesday night by acting Chancellor Commander T. L. Turner
and the suggestion meta hearty response from the members. A formal invitation is
being prepared and will be presented to the subordinate lodges of the state,
about 300 in number, and to the Grand Lodge which meets in Houston in two weeks.
The Grand Lodge has met in the past few years in all
the larger cities of the state and the believe exists that these larger places
will not enter into a strong competition for the Grand Lodge at this time which
belief gives Marlin Knights considerable encouragement.
