Program of the Evening.
-----

       The committees of the ladies social club are very busy now completing the final details for the garden party to be given on the lawn at the May-Bell Inn this evening, June 26.
       There is every prospect that it will be one of the nicest affairs that has been witnessed in Marlin in a long while.
       The admission price will be 25 cents, children under 12  15 cts.  The net proceeds will go to the fund being raised for a public park.  There is every indication that the attendance will be good, as it should be.
       There will be many features on the program that will interest those who attend.  Some surprises are in store, especially for the gentlemen of the audience.  The musical program follows:

PROGRAM.

       1.   Chorus, Merry June--Misses Finks, Bartlett, Clarkson, Foster, Clark, Frank, Mesdames Torbett and Burkhead.

       2.   Selection--Miss Watson.

       3.   Duett--Miss Finks.  Mrs. Torbett.

       4.  Selection--Miss Sadie Harrison.

       5.   Duett--Misses Bartlett and Battle.

       6.   Selection--Miss Dupree.

       7.   Reading--Miss Julia Harrison.

       8.   Selection--Miss Frank.

       9.   Duett--Miss Finks, Mrs. Burkhead.

       10. Selection--Mrs. Torbett.

       Refreshments will be served by the ladies.  The prices stated includes all the cost.
