       The demand for lumber, shingles, doors, mouldings and in fact every thing in the building line, at Wm. Cameron & Co's. new lumber yard, far exceed our sanguine expectations.  Why do people demand them?  Because they are the best and can supply your wants immediately.

       From the Gonzales papers we note that Evangelist W. P. Fife is meeting with success in his meeting, which is being conducted along the same lines as the Marlin meeting.  Most all the stores close there from 10:30 to 12 and the merchants and clerk attend services.

       Dr. G. P. Reeves announces in this issue as a candidate for re-election as tax collector of Falls county, subject to the action of the democratic primary.
