OLD MAIDS CONVENTION

     The United Daughters of the Confederacy are making arrangements for the "Old Maid's Convention which will be held in a short time, This entertainment will be one of the best in Marlin in a long time and considerable interest is already being shown in the probable result of the auction of "old maids", which is, we understand, to be one of the features of the event.
