A Large Number of People
Leave Marlin for Reunion.

Went On Two Special Cars

       Marlin and Falls county are furnishing a large number of visitors  to the great Confederate Reunion at Dallas.
       Monday morning early the "old vets" were moving around lively making preparations for the trip.
       A special car left over the I. & G. N. at 6:30 and another at 11:19 over the Central, loaded with veterans, sons and daughters of the Confederacy.
       Among those leaving Marlin at 6:30 and 11:19 were the following:

       Miss May Hutchings, sponsor, and Miss Ethel Barton, maid of honor, Wm Shelton, Jno M Jolly, J M Wooley, J T Owens, G A King, A A Finley, G W Barnes, Dr. J C Shaw. A Frazier, M M Coleman, H C Francks, Geo H Gassaway, W B Murphy, G E Kunze, G T Gentry, W H Jones, C P Carlton, B A Pierson, N Stallworth, J T LeNoir, D H Boyles, W. P. Hunnicutt, L G Gatlin, S W Swinnea, F M Stallworth, Sr., J R Garrett, Jno M Green with wife, J U Corneilson, G W Irwin, J W Mallard, J M Jarrell, H F Spencer and wfie, T K Barton, W H Webb, J B Taylor, Gus Barry, O E Curry, L N Stanley, H O Bargainier, Mr and Mrs W T Fannin, M G McEntire, W W Miller, Mr and Mrs C M McCreary,  D King, J R Eddins, J W Allen, Mesdames J H Redden, B Killebrew, W T Needles, W L Falconer, Mr and Mrs W W Mathews, Wm Hander, W A Holland, Tom Connally, H Rusbecke, E Robinson.
       Isom Gamble, colored, went along with the camp, Isom says that he is "a member of de firm" and expects to make an address while in Dallas as he is always called on for a speech by the "old vote" whom he served faithfully during the war.
