CHILTON NEWS NOTES

The family of L. D. Kiersey have gone to the Indian Territory to join Mr. Kiersey who has located at Conway.

Brant Bush and son, Mack Gaither and Sam Brewer have gone to Sour Lake.

Mrs. J. W. Sylvester has returned to Coleman after a visit to relatives here.

E. C. Nunn and family have returned from a visit to Hamilton county. Mrs. Furguson, mother of Mrs. Nunn, returned with them.

J. S. Mahen, agent for the S. A. & A. P. at this place for thirteen years, has resigned to embark in the mercantile business. Mr. Maben is succeeded as agent by A. G. Bolton of Muldoon.

H. W. Flowers, for fifteen years a merchant at Chilton has moved to McKinney where he will engage in business.

The general opinion prevails here that a much larger acreage of cotton will be planted this year than in 1003, the high price acting as an incentive.
