THRESHED FIFTY BUSHELS OF OATS
PER ACRE.

     Lit B. Chapman, who lives near Lott, Falls county, threshed fifty bushels of oats per acre from a field of eighty acres after grazing 100 head of hogs for several months on the growing crop. The growth of his hogs while grazing on the oats was probably worth half the cost of the seed, planting same, and the result on the land.     - Kosse Cyclone.
