A CANNERY FOR MARLIN.
-----
Details Being Arranged For One In
Marlin.
-----

There is an organized movement on foot to establish a cannery in Marlin.
The Business League is now at work on the details of establishing a first class cannery for the purpose of utilizing the fruit and tomatoes grown in this territory.  The enterprise should be a success as an investment besides developing the fruit and truck growing industry of this county.
It is intended that the enterprise shall be built by popular subscription of stock which is to be placed at $10 per share and to be divided among as many interested people as possible.  Only about $800 or $1000 will be required to begin with.
An institution of this kind will insure a market for all tomatoes and other truck that can be raised in Falls county.
All those interested in the matter should attend the meeting of the Business League at the Mayor's office next Monday night.
