Some of
the legatees of the Wm. M. Rice estate are not satisfied with the way matters
stand, and will likely apply for administration papers in New York.
The expense of the trial of Molinaux, who
was recently acquitted in New York, amount to half a million dollars.
Roosevelt is hunting bear in Pennsylvania.
After the bear hunt, the president will move on the south.
Dunbar P. Magruder, cashier of a bank at
Woodstock, Va., has absconded, leaving the bank several thousand short.
Those who oppose dancing have new material
to work upon. A young lady in New York fell dead while dancing with (her)
partner.
