Miss Catherine Wharton and Mrs. Wharton of Dallas are guests of
Mrs. B. J. Linthicum, Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Fink and son of Waco are guests of M. L. Fink and son of Waco are guests of Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Arrington.

Judge W. M. Weathered of Coleman was the weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Jones.

E. W. ( )ounds, a former Marlin mayor, came down from Fort Worth for the convention.

J. Ward(    ) of Fort Worth was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. ( ) Johnson for the convention.

Albert Tomlinson has returned to Dallas, where he resides, after a visit with this parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. L. Tomlinson.

Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Dickerson of Houston, former Marlin residents, were convention visitors.

V. M. Cox of Waco, a member of the R. E. Cox Dry Goods firm, was in Marlin for the convention.

Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Fannin of Dallas were convention visitors.  They formerly resided in Marlin.

Clifton Eskridge, who is attending John Tarleton College at Stephenville, spent the weekend at home.

F. H. Ragsdale of Waco was a convention visitor, greeting friends of his former residence in Marlin

Mrs. C. C. Chatham and daughter, Miss Norma Chatham, of Arlington, former Marlin residents, are visiting here.

Mrs. Pearl St. Clair and Miss Mary Agnes Rains of Houston have
arrived for a visit with relatives and friends.

G. W. Johnson, dist (missing) agent with the extension service (of) A. and M. College of Texas, was (a) convention visitor.

Mrs. J. W. William(  ) and children and Miss Juanita Nor(wood) of Houston are guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Norwood.

J. F. Spencer, Jr. and E. L. Cook, the latter formerly of Mart, accompanied the Dallas delegation to the convention.

D. S. Caldwell of Mexia and G. A. Stallworth of Groesbeeck, former
Marlin residents, were mingling with convention crowds.

Mr. and Mrs. George Gardere of Dallas arrived in Marlin Sunday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Gardere and to attend the convention.

Geo. Chatmas of Hearne was a member of the Robertson county
delegation to the convention.  He formerly lived in Marlin.

W. T. Betts and Alfred Kelly attended the West Texas band contest
in Abilene Saturday.  Mr. Kelly is from Wortham and has just recently
been elected band director of the Marlin Junior Band.
