       Mr. and Mrs. Ben Freeman are visiting relatives in Wharton.

       Wylie Mays of Wharton spent the weekend with Marlin relatives.

       Mrs. Wm. Dow and Miss Rosa Dow are visiting relatives in Corpus Christi.

       Mr. and Mrs. R. A. McCall and Roy Bryan are visiting relatives in Houston.

       G. E. Phillips of Harlingen has arrived to join his family on a visit with Marlin relatives.

       Mrs. B. C. Bratton and son, Charles, left Sunday for a visit in Los Angeles, California.

       Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Burke and family of Roscoe, Texas, spent the week with Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Killebrew.

       Mr. and Mrs. Dan Blair of Lubbock are visiting Mrs. Blair's father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Eddins.

       Mrs. J. T. Robinson of Austin and Mrs. Willie Reeves of Dallas spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Stephens.

       Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Ward of Marlin and Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Smith if (sic) Temple have returned from a visit in Galveston.

       Helen Ruth Cochran and Harvey Cochran, Jr., returned to their in Houston Sunday after a visit in the P. J. Bryan home.

       Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Read and children and Misses Mary Frances and Katherine Black and J. W. Black, Jr., of Dime Box came up on a weekend visit with T. N. Reat and family.

       Misses Mary and Ruth Byrd of Mexia are visiting Mrs. J. M. Kennedy.  Mrs. J. D. Collins, Mrs. W. L. Byrd, De Witt Collins and Paul Byrd, who came over with them Sunday, returning in the afternoon.
