FALLS COUNTY HORSES WIN.
-----
Handsome Purses Captured at
Brownwood and Houston.
-----

Falls county horses had an inning last week--in three instances they won handsome, prizes on the race course.
King Airy, owned by S.J. Ward of Rosebud, won a $400 purse at the carnival races in Houston.
Princessinskey and Nut Clipper, owned by Frank Peacock, both won $250 purses at the Brownwood fair.
All these horses had fast company and their success is a source of gratification to all lovers of horse flesh in this county as a matter of local pride, and the owners are being congratulated.
