Falls County Doctors
Hold Meeting In Marlin
~~~~~
    Them Falls County Medical Society held at the Elks' parlors October 5, one of the best meetings it has yet had.  Those present were:
Drs. Rice, Sewall, J. C. and F. Shaw, Whitten, Allen, Munger, Buie, Streit, J. W. and O. Torbett, Mary Webb, Marlin; Dudgeon and I. E. Colgin, Waco; J. Hunnicutt and May McAdams, Bryan; Hampshire and Blaylock, Kosse; Gainey, Mooreville.
    Dr. Sewall read an interesting and instructive paper on dengue, which is so prevalent at present that all patients should be put under mosquito conveyed by the common house mosquito from the patient to others.
    Dr. Dudgeon read an instructive paper on "The Treatment of Chronic Prostatic Hypertrophy."
    Dr. I. E. Colgin read a paper on "X-ray in Diagnosing."
    Drs. Streit and Jansing were admitted to membership.
    We have one of the best medical societies in the country now, and to keep it so we need the help of all the doctors in the county.
    The next meeting will be held in Marlin November 2nd.
O. Torbett, Secretary
