To The Democrat:

       Say we have still got old dry and very good prospects for a continuation of the same.

       Cotton picking is pretty general, the crop will make about one fourth of bale per acre.  We will pick the most of it ourselves.  Picking is 50 centers per 100 pounds and I don't think it will go above that figure here.
      
       Our doctor, T. W. Wills, is still sick at West station and we are sorry to hear is in a very dangerous condition.  We understand that he has typhoid fever.  We hope, however, that he may soon recover and return home.

       I can't see why it is Marlin don't pay a price for Falls county products that will demand the produce of the county.  You can not blame the groceryman or dry goods merchants as we all know we can buy anything in Marlin as cheap as anywhere.  With best wishes for Marlin and Falls county and The Democrat.
