Julia Sue Gott married William Madison Killen on December 21, 1924 at the First Methodist Church of Rosebud, TX.  In 1921, along with Neal Watkins, Vince Irvin, Thornton Asbury, Julia Sue (Gott) Killen was one of the original founders of the "Powers Chapel Cemetery Association" and throughout the 1920’s she was in charge of the programs (i.e., Memorial Day).  They had only one daughter, Virgie Laura Killen who married Ray A. Looney (both are still living, but their headstone is already in the new section of Powers Chapel Cemetery).
