Emily Elizabeth Peters Porter and Francis Oliver Porter were the parents of Albert, Mary Elizabeth, and Dee Coswalt Porter. Emily Peters along with Mattie L Dickson led in the efforts to found Clover Hill Cemetery. The two women were not only friends, but also had a family tie. Emily's son, Dee C was married to Mattie's daughter Mattie.
