| Horace M. Dickson was born in Franklin County, Alabama, March 15, 1846, to Ann and Lewis Dickson. He was married in Hempstead County, Arkansas, to Martha Lee "Mattie" Reeder, July 8, 1868. The couple had 5 children while in Arkansas, 4 of whom lived to adulthood and moved with their parents to Falls County, Texas before 1900. Mattie applied for and was granted a Confederate Pension for Horace's service in the Confederate Army, Arkansas, 11th & 17th, Consolidated Infantry, Co. K, Musician. Horace M. died October 9, 1903 in Lott, Falls County, Texas. | ||||
