Rev. A. J. Loughridge was a Presbyterian minister and is buried in the Tanglewood / Hugh Wilson Cemetery in Lee County.

Susan’s Hallum family lived in Anderson County near Bradford.  They came to Texas from South Carolina in about 1856.  Andrew Jackson “A. J.” Loughridge was preaching in the Koose-Blue Ridge area when Susan died.
