VALENTINE NEUMANN

     Valentine Neumann, dates of birth and death, place of burial, and names of parents not known - married Ida Elizabeth Glass, b May 8, 1879, d December 27, 1938 and buried in Barclay Cemetery - a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Schneider) Glass. They were the parents of nine children:

     Arthur Henry Neumann, b July 27, 1898, d January 13, 1986 and buried in Lubbock, Texas - was a farmer, who married October 12, 1966 to Meta Koch, who died October 12, 1980 and buried in Brenham, Texas.

     Clara Nettie Neumann, b March 3, 1900 - married October 30, 1930 to John Wesley Johnson, b August 6, 1905, d March 23, 1986 and buried in Rosebud, Texas. Clara is an excellent seamstress and homemaker, and John Wesley was engaged in farming. They had two daughters, both born in Falls County: Clarie Marian Johnson, b June 22, 1935, who had been a Medical Administrative Assistant at the Veterans Administration Hospital for over 26 years - married November 18, 1966 to Cecil Andrew Hoelscher, b November 25, 1933 in Falls County, Texas, served in Korea with the U.S. Army 1954-1956, is a farmer and rancher, and operator of heavy equipment - having no children; and Betty Pearl Johnson, b November 1, 1937 who married December 7, 1960 to Nicholaus Wilhelm Jantzen, b January 18, 1931 in Hamburg, Germany, and moved to Dallas, Texas in 1957 - having one son: Eric Nicholaus William Jantzen, b July 7, 1963 in Dallas.

     Helen Ida Neumann, b January 18,1902, d May 17, 1982 and buried in San Angelo, Texas - married June 10,1925 to Alfred R. Werner.

     Cecilia Bertha Neumann, b April 4, 1904 - married July 7,1928 to Jasper R. Howel.

     Florence Neumann, b June 19, 1906, d July 20, 1963 and buried in Lubbock, Texas.

     Elizabeth Gertrude Neumann, b January 13, 1911, d July 6, 1980 and buried in Lubbock, Texas- never married.

     Rosa Neumann, b January 1, 1907, d December 25, 1910 and buried in New Waverly, Texas - never married.

     Laura Mary Neumann, b June 19, 1912, d July 4, 1966 and buried in Lubbock, Texas - never married.

     John Valentine Neumann, b February 27, 1914, d June 16, 1967 and buried in Sagerton, Texas - married January 1, 1941 to Hilda Baitz, and had three children.
