MELVIN LONDON

     Melvin London, b December 23, 1946 at Satin, ( Falls County, Texas - was a son of Clifton London, b  November 23, 1909 in Falls County, and his wife, Elner Mae (Wiley) London, b May 11, 1913, d before 1986.  

     Melvin is an August 29, 1969 graduate of Prairie G View A&M University with a degree in Business Administration, and has been employed as an insurance agent by Allstate Insurance Company for five years. He is a member of the Hewitt Chamber of Commerce, a member and a Deacon of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church at Satin, and was appointed superintendent of the Sunday School there on December 10, 1984.  

     Melvin London was married to Betty J. Hawkins, ye b May 28, 1946 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas - a daughter of Samuel Hawkins, b November 18, 1912 0; (now deceased), and his wife, Pearline (Harris) Hawkins, b August 20, 1920 (Now deceased) - both natives in. of Falls County. Betty is employed by M&M Mars as a servicer, after graduating from 4-C Business College 19 on August 11, 1972. She is a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Satin, and is a Sunday School a Teacher of Class #2, a member of the Senior Choir, and the Mass Choir Women's Auxiliary.

     Melvin and Betty (Hawkins) London have two in: daughters:  

     Patricia Ann London, b February 15, 1966 in tea Waco, McLennan County, Texas, resides in Waco, where she attends McLennan County Community College.  

     Felicia London, b December 13, 1970 in Waco, EVE McLennan County, Texas, attends University High  School in Waco.
