ROBERT LINCOLN HUDSON

     Robert Lincoln Hudson, b August 30, 1917 at Pleasant Grove, Falls County, Texas, d June 23, 1980  and buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery - was a son of William James and Edney Elizabeth (Reaves) Hudson. On      October 8, 1938, Lincoln was married to Jewel  Evelyn Casey b October 8,1918, d January 2, 1986 - a

daughter of James and Rachel (Parsons) Casey. Rachel: was a daughter of Samuel L. and Mary Jane (Taylor) Parsons of Taylor's Chapel Community east of Marlin, Texas.

     Lincoln and Jewel lived at Pleasant Grove all their married lives. He farmed, and was also working at the Rosebud Auto Store when he was killed in an automobile accident on June 23,1983. Jewel worked at the Rosebud Hospital and at Heritage in Rosebud. They were members of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where Lincoln served as a Deacon.

     Robert Lincoln and Jewel Evelyn (Casey) Hudson five children:

     Robert Darrell Hudson, b November 14,1939 at Rosebud, d January 29, 1948.

     Peggy Jean Hudson, b July 7, 1941 at Rosebud - married January 17, 1958 to Joseph ("Joe") Clark - a son of Reuben and Thelma (Rutter) Clark. They reside in Rosebud, where Peggy is a teacher and librarian in the Rosebud - Lott High School. Joe is employed in Waco, by the Baylor Press. Their only child, Peggy Jo Clark, was b December 24, 1958, d March 10, 1959.

     James Allen Hudson, b August 24, 1943 in Rosebud - married on June 22, 1963 to Sandra Elaine Self.

     John Edward Hudson, b December 14, 1949 - married December 22, 1980 to Lisa Cooper.

     Carroll Wayne Hudson, b December 1, 1953 - married November 3,1979 to Martha Faye Zavodny.
