William Henry Evans, b December 4, 1872, d September 8, 1928, and buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery - married ca 1911 to Elizabeth Frances (called "Sadie") Hudson, b September 14, 1893 in Milam County, Texas, d October 10, 1984 at Pleasant Grove, Falls County, Texas and buried by her husband at Powers Chapel - a daughter of James Nelson and Martha Jane (Lee) Hudson of Alabama.
William Henry and "Sadie" farmed at Pleasant Grove, and had three children:
Annie Viola Evans, b July 16, 1912 in Falls County, Texas - married Earl Daniel Reaves.
Gladys Ernestine Evans, b December 27, 1913 in Falls County, Texas - married November 16, 1935 to William Otto Plasek.
Carrie Agnes Evans, b November 5, 1918 in Falls County, Texas, died November 6, 1953, unmarried.
After William Henry Evans died, Elizabeth Frances ("Sadie" Hudson) Evans married second on November 22, 1932 to Herman Rothe, b April 9, 1892, d July 28, 1973, and buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery - a son of Julius Rothe of Ben Arnold in Milam County, Texas. They had no children. Herman farmed at Pleasant Grove, and they were members of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
