William Entrop, Sr., b 1854 in Germany, d September 21, 1930 - came to Texas in 1880, and married in 1882 to Katharine Deiterman, b February 2, 1865 at Tours, Texas, d August 24, 1942. They were the parents of William Entrop, Jr., b August 30, 1891 in Tours, Texas, d February 25, 1871 in Temple, Bell County, Texas. He served overseas in the U. S. Army during World War I.

William Entrop, Jr. married October 16, 1922 in Falls County, Texas to Elizabeth Hoelscher, b January 23, 1901 at Westphalia, Texas - a daughter of Herman and Rosa (Ocker) Hoelscher. Herman was a merchant at Westphalia - at a store now owned by Eugene Jansing.

The Entrops moved to Westphalia, where they were members of the Church of the Visitation. One of their children, Valerie Entrop, b May 22, 1932 at Westphalia, was married on January 30, 1960 to Adolph Kostika, b February 12, 1930 in Texas, d February 14, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas - a son of Joseph and Bertha (Krenek) Kostika, natives of Czechoslovakia. Adolph and Valerie (Entrop) Kostika had eight children, who live in Westphalia: Donna, Denise, Debra, Kerry, Karen, Dwayne, Kevin, and Dean Kostika.
