CHARLES WILLIAM ALBERT

Charles William Albert, b 1871 at Willow Springs, Fayette County, Texas, d January 1, 1959 in Houston, Harris County, Texas--was the fifth child of Christian and Minna(Weige) Albert. On January 6, 1898 in Fayette County, Charles was married to Henrietta Henniger, b 1882 in Fayette County, d July 26, 1936 in Houston, Texas and buried in Pagel Cemetery at Willow Springs--a daughter of Otto and Sophia(Hesslel) Henniger--natives of Prussia.

Charles and Henrietta moved to Barclay, Falls County, Texas in 1905, where he was a farmer and a blacksmith. They later moved to San Antonio, and subsquently to Houston, Texas, where they died. They were the parents of sixteen children--including a pair of twins:

Elsie Albert, b November 29, 1909 in Falls County, Texas

Alice Albert, b March 15, 1912 in Bell County, Texas

Lee Albert, b July 22, 1914 in Bell County, Texas
