     Arthur Ruben Abel, b December 10, 1929 in Falls County, Texas - was a son of Rufolf Afolf and Hulda (Quandt) Abel. On June 5, 1955 in the St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church in Falls County, Arthur was married to Margaret Dorothy Polster - a daughter of Herman Emil and Rosella Sophie Annie (Grube )Polster.

     Arthur attended school in the St. Paul Community school, and was baptized and confirmed in the St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church. He is a farmer and rancher, and is a retired Veterans Administration employee.

     Arthur Ruben and Margaret Dorothy (Polster) Abel were the parents of one daughter:

     Karen Kay Abel, b June 5, 1956 in Falls County - married March 6, 1976 in Temple, Bell County, Texas to Riley Dean Prentice, b April 18, 1944 in Wayne County, Michigan. They have no children.
