Joel D. Treadaway & Josephine H. (Alexander) Treadaway This photo was probably taken at around the time they were married in 1869 or shortly after. They were married in Alabama and came to Texas soon after with the John Marion Harper's who settled in Chatfield. Rebecca Jane Alexander Harper was Josephine's sister. The Treadaway's were pioneers in Ellis County, but are buried in the Rice Cemetery in neighboring Navarro County.
