Obituary J. H. Stephenson From Research Conducted at the Nicholas P. Sims Library, Waxahachie, Ellis County, Texas September 20, 2003 by Debbi Rodgers   Waxahachie Enterprise, Feb. 19, 1904 Mr. Stephenson, aged and highly respected citizen of Ellis County, died Wednesday night about 12 o'clock at his home near Mountain Peak. Mr. Stephenson was about 78 years old and had been in ill health some time. He had lived in the Mountain Peak country about sixteen years, moving there from Tennessee and was a brother to Mr. S. B. Stephenson of this city. Mr. Stephenson was a man of noble character and was highly esteemed by all who knew him.
