Obituary Thomas J. Middleton   The Dallas Morning News 8 Nov. 1912 page 7 Special to the News Waxahachie, Texas. Aug. 10 Thomas J. Middleton died Thursday night in Dallas. Funeral seervices were conducted the following morning at the Central Presbyterian church here. He moved to Texas after graduating from Columbia University in Tenn. first settling at Johnson Station in Tarrant County. He taught school in several counties - his last being at Mountain Peak in Ellis County. He moved to Waxahachie in 1887 when he assumed ownership of the Ellis County Mirror. Mr. Middleton is survived by his widow and seven children.
