Obituary Mrs. Isabella Serena Deel Contributed by Dorothy Kyler, 30 June 1999   Ferris Wheel - Saturday, July 31, 1897 "Grandma" Deel, aged 78 years, died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. W. McCoy, one and a half miles west of town of heart disease. Mrs. Deel had been in bad health for some time, but was able to be up Saturday and ate a hearty supper before retiring. Awhile before day, her granddaughter, Mrs. Adams, heard her turn over and cough, but thought nothing of it till Mr. McCoy arose about 5 o'clock and found her dead in bed. The funeral was cnducted Monday morning at 11 a.m. by Ref. W. H. Harry at the residence of her son-in-law, George McCoy.
