Obituary Isaac Henry Bullard   The Dallas Morning News, Oct. 4, 1921. Page 18. Special to The News.Waxahachie, Texas. Oct. 3. I. H. Bullard, 83, former postmaster of Waxahachie, died this morning in Houston, after a two-week illness. He had also been in the mercantile business for a number of years and was on the first Board of Aldermen for this city. He was born Oct. 12, 1838 in Tazwell, Tenn. and a few years later the family moved to Neosho, Mo. He joined the CSA as a member of Parson's Brigade from here and after war's end, returned to Ellis County, settling near Sardis. He married Miss Sallie Nowlin in 1867.
