Obituary J. D. Anderson   Waxahachie Enterprise - Dec. 11, 1891 Mr. J. D. Anderson of Avalon, President of the Ellis County Bee Keeper Association, was thrown from his wagon Wednesday evening and received severe injuries. To allay his suffering he took a large dose of morphine but grew worse rapidly; friends called for Dr. Thompson, but the patient died soon after the doctor's arrival.
