Funeral services were held Tues. for Denton Young, 28, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Young, who passed away at their home in the Red Hill community, Monday, Dec. 1. Rev. J.L. Prichard conducted the services at Campbell Funeral Chapel at 10:30 December 2. Interment was made in Spur cemetery.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Young; three sisters, Mrs. J.F. Blair, Mrs. Elmer Frazier and Mrs. B.A. Lay; three brothers, Willard, Milton and Garner Young.

Denton Young was born in Spur December 17, 1913, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Young who came to Dickens County 43 years ago. He grew to manhood here and has innumerable friends who are sorrowed at his untimely passing.
