Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church for Bill Wyatt, 78. Rev. Sam Simmons officiated assisted by Rev. Norris Taylor, Stinnett.Wyatt died about 3:20 a.m. Sunday in the Crosbyton Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Madison County on November 17, 1905, he married the former Lucille Gannon August 18, 1930 in Lovington, NM. He lived in Kent County from 1932 to 1982 when he moved to Spur. He was a farmer and rancher. He served on the board of directors of Farmers' Co-op Gin for 22 years and on the board of Dickens Electric Co-op for 16 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Spur; three sons, Billy Tom and Alfred Dale both of Spur and Freddy Lee, Fairfax, VA; two brothers, Jake Wyatt, Brownwood and Jim Wyatt, Girard; four sisters, Mable Holloway, Spur; Mary Wyatt, Dickens; Robbie Edwards, Afton and Christine Hunt, Henrietta; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge.

Services for Lucille Wyatt, 80, Spur, were at 2 p.m. July 23, 1991 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Genoa Goad officiating.Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wyatt died about 8:35 a.m. July 21 in the Spur Care Center following a lengthy illness. Justice of the Peace Bonnie Edwards ruled death was due to natural causes.
Mrs. Wyatt was born in Olney on August 28, 1910 and lived in Kent County for 50 years before moving to Spur in 1982. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
She married Bill Wyatt August 18, 1930 in Lovington, NM. He died in February of 1984. Two sons preceded her in death; Jimmy Wyatt in 1932 and Billy Tom Wyatt in 1985.
Survivors include two sons, Freddy Lee Wyatt, Reno, NV and Alfred Dale Wyatt, Quitman; two brothers, Arthur A. Gannon, Odessa and Bill Gannon, Goodland, KS; six sisters, Mae Bingham, Lubbock; Winnie Ellis and Dora Baker, both of Spur; Ora finch, Buffalo; Virginia Stumbo, Carlsbad, NM and Thelma Fletcher, Brownwood and five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
