Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Mae Wright, 79, were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Spur Church of Christ with Gary Williams, minister, officiating; he was assisted by Cleston Pritchett.

A resident of Dickens County since 1925, Mrs. Wright died Feb. 1 in Borger. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Her husband died in 1964.

Survivors include four sons, Roy Wright, Dumas; Vernon and Elmer Wright, Spur and Paul Wright, Fayetteville, NC; five daughters, Mrs. Lena Jenkins, Irving; Mrs. Clara Fisher, Hennesy, Okla.; Mrs. Elsie Wallou, Modesto, CA; Mrs. Inez Masie, Big Springs; Mrs. Pauline Holmes, Grapevine; 35 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

Grandsons served as pallbearers: Johnnie Paul Wright, Thurmon Wright, Lloyd Wright, Roy E. Humphrey, Wayne Wright and Kenneth Don Wright.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
